Meltblown process is categorized as a melt spinning method, which can obtain the product directly from raw material resin.
The outstanding feature of meltblown nonwoven is the fineness of fiber diameter.
Mean fiber diameter of Tapyrus products is very fine, ranging from less than 1μm to a few dozen μm. Fiber diameter is controllable in a wide range.
As it is self-bonding fiber web without any adhesive, it is safe with no elution of hazardous material from the adhesive.
Any thermoplastic resin can be used to make nonwoven.
Q.What kind of products are there in which Tapyrus products are used?

It is applied to liquid filter, mask, and main filtering media for the air filter.
In addition, it is used for separator of non-rechargeable Li battery, wet wiper and coffee filter of domestic use.
Q.Please tell us the product lineup of Tapyrus products.
A.
Tapyrus products consist of many product grades.
While most of the products are made of polypropylene, we have other product family made of polyester or polyamide.
Basis weight ranges as wide as from approx.
7ｇ/㎡～4 0 0ｇ/㎡, and mean fiber diameter ranges from less than 1μm to a few dozen μm.
If inquiry is given to us, we will offer the most adequate product grade to the customers as their needs.
We can supply tailor-made product to customers as their request, even if it is a small manufacturing scale.
Q.What kind of raw material resin are used for Tapyrus products?
A.
Major raw material resin is polypropylene.
Polyester, polyamide and polyphenylene sulfide are used as well.
Any thermoplastic resin can be used to make nonwoven.
Q.Is it possible to stick Tapyrus products with other nonwoven or to laminate it with membrane film?
A.
We have product family which is stuck with other sorts of nonwoven or membrane film, by heat emboss, ultrasonic emboss and hot melt adhesion.
Q.What is the smallest lot in purchasing Tapyrus products?
A.
While it depends on the product grade, we can sell it by one roll lot.
