R&D, Facility Management and Quality Assurance sections

Based on the needs of industries, R&D section are actively engaged in new product development and technology development. Typical examples are, an electret nonwoven of high filtering efficiency with static charge and a nonwoven ultra-fine fiber.

This section is responsible for the maintenance of manufacturing lines, machinery, and environmental management of manufacturing plant buildings. In addition, design of a new manufacturing line and licensing-in technology are often conducted by using the expertise of this section.

This section is responsible for establishment of the delivery quality standard for customers, and for root cause analysis and countermeasure planning against any product quality problem.

Quality Control

Tapyrus establishes the quality integrity management system which governs all manufacturing operation elements such as manufacturing environment, manufacturing facility and manufacturing operation procedures.

Not only fundamental product properties of basis weight, thickness and permeability is measured, but various tests requested by customers are conducted. To avoid contamination of foreign matters, strict control of working environment by uniform clothes, hair cap, shoes, etc. are made other than product inspection.
